Jaclyn Kramer

With over 20 years of experience, Jaclyn is passionate about helping companies ramp up their brands, captivate their audiences, and take their businesses to new heights. She loves using her knowledge of strategic marketing, branding, and demand generation which has led her to working in marketing leadership roles in companies of all sizes, from tech start-ups to publicly traded companies. But that’s not all she’s passionate about. Admittedly, Jaclyn is pretty smitten with her babies – Emma (18) and Anderson (2.5), two dogs, and husband, Ben. That’s right, Jaclyn has a college student and a toddler – coffee is her best friend! While a bit nerdy, outside of the office Jaclyn is obsessed with research, and loves reading, cooking, jigsaw puzzles, reading, and…..reading. Yes, totally nerdy, but we love her for it!

Grisson Davis

Growing up Grisson had two loves, art and science, and discovered the perfect blend of the two in the field of graphic design. With over 20 years of experience, Grisson has worked with everyone from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in the banking, consumer goods, tech, and apparel industries. He has twice been awarded the London International Advertising Award and has been published in the Graphis Interactive Design Annual. When he’s not leading the creative team, you’ll catch Grisson kayaking, running, quoting podcasts and spending quality time with his wife and their twins, whom he has officially branded N&M.

Courtney Mortimer

Originally from L.A., Courtney now calls the Bay Area home and joined the Grove team in October 2021. Courtney’s 15-year marketing career began in San Francisco running brands such as Beringer Wine, Sprint PCS and 24 Hour Fitness. She moved on to run brand strategy and account services for well-known agencies such as BBDO and DRAFT FCB managing the entire Gallo Wine Portfolio, and Del Monte Pet Foods. At Smiths Agency, she ran digital strategy marketing for Nestle’s Skinny Cow & Nescafe, and Premier Protein. Courtney specializes in launching new brands such as Popchips and Buxom by Bare Essentials. She moved client side to run Innovation at Diageo North America and worked on the launch of brands such as the McBride Sisters, The Great American Wine Company, & Woodwork Wines. Outside of The Grove, Courtney can be found going on adventures with her daughter and husband, attending a power yoga class or sipping kombucha on the beach.

Katelyn Murray

Katelyn joined The Grove team in 2012 after making the thirteen-hour trek from the swamplands of Louisiana to the mountains of North Carolina. A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Katelyn’s road to design started much earlier in life through countless studio art courses – eventually leading to a BFA in Communication Design.

Obsessed with form and composition, Katelyn applies her knowledge of the arts to every design project at The Grove. And although she is a total color theory nerd, her wardrobe consists mostly of black, navy, and gray.

When she’s away from The Grove, Katelyn can be found traveling home for a good southern meal, learning how to drive in the snow (aka avoiding the snow altogether), or walking her ‘boxador’ pup named Luna.

Will Guthrie

A self-proclaimed Winston-Salem native, Will joined The Grove team in late 2017. A graduate of Western Carolina University, Will spent 5 years forging a path in design through the valleys and rivers of western North Carolina. After getting his feet wet designing can labels for some of North Carolina’s premier craft breweries, Will was jonesing for that sweet, Reynolds Tobacco air back home in Winston-Salem.

With a passion for brand and identity design, Will brings a thoughtful yet lighthearted viewpoint to the creative team. He enjoys diving deep into client briefs, has learned to #TrustTheProcess and is never afraid to throw in a good pun when needed.

When he’s not designing, Will can be found in the far corners of an art gallery, hole #8 at the Stonewall Disc Golf course, man-splaining why you should drink IPAs, or ranting about a font choice on a sign.

Emma Adams

Emma is a recent graduate from Ball State University located in Indiana, also known as the Harvard of Muncie. Emma moved all the way from Valparaiso, IN to Winston-Salem, NC to join our team. Emma has remembered art being her passion ever since she was a little kid, with an obsession of drawing dogs. Nowadays, her passion for art has grown into a love for design and illustration.

Outside of the office, Emma is generally at home binge-watching crime documentaries and sharing a family-sized bag of potato chips with her dog, River. She is also quite the controversial pizza topping picker, as mushroom and pineapple are her favorites, but of course not together.

Katherine Wells

After five years as an analytical chemist, Shelli became passionate about process optimization and workflow efficiency. This led her to move to the world of project management and she joined the team at The Grove in September of 2022 while also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Project Management through Wake Forest University.

When she’s not facilitating projects, Shelli enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband – always thinking about their next camping, skiing, or mountain biking trip. When she’s local, you can find her a hot yoga class or trying out the newest hot-spot restaurant in the area.

Matthew Roszak

Matthew Roszak is a leading blockchain investor, entrepreneur, and advocate. Matthew is chairman and co-founder of Bloq, a blockchain technology company. Matthew is also a founding partner of Tally Capital, a private investment firm focused on cryptocurrencies and blockchain-enabled technologies, with a portfolio of market-leading companies, including Binance, Block.One, Blockstream, Civic, Messari, Orchid, Spacechain, Tzero, and Qtum.
Matthew serves as chairman of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, the world’s largest trade association representing blockchain. In addition, Matthew serves on the board of BitGive, a non-profit foundation that improves philanthropic impact with blockchain technology. Matthew was a producer of the industry’s first-ever documentary, The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin.
